Med-View Airline has just signed a partnership agreement with First Bank of Nigeria on the online payment platform called MasterCard Internet Gateway Service (MIGS), where customers with Master / Visa cards anywhere in the world could make payments for its tickets online.

This is to ensure that Med-View brings its service closer to its numerous clients who desire to buy their tickets online within the comfort of their home or offices without stress.

The airline explained that this option of payment is in addition to the Interswitch platform designed mostly for customers with naira Master cards and the book-on-hold platform where customers could walk into any bank in Nigeria and pay for their reservations made online.

To achieve this, customer can make reservation online and choose the option ‘I want to pay with Master / Visa card” when they get to the payment platform.

This will automatically prompt the Master card and Visa Card logos from where customer can now click the logo of their desired card for payments, enter the required card details and wait for confirmation for payments. Once this is achieved, ticket will be automatically sent to the email provided while making reservation.

The development of the airline payment is one of the ways First Bank and Med-View are partnering. According to the CEO of the airline, Alhaji Muneer Bankole, one of the foremost banks in Nigeria has been behind the last two aircraft acquisitions by the airline and it is also providing credit facility for the acquisition of the wide-body aircraft, Boeing B767-300, which the airline intends to use for long haul operations.

“The beauty of it is that when I mentioned First Bank, when we started this business we started with First Bank. And for one thing they appreciate Medview for is that they believe in our statement and we are committed to what we said and when they saw the progress being made by this airline, they believe that they need to support us.

“Today  I am proud to tell you that the finances of bringing this aircraft and one of the other aircraft that has arrived was totally the support of First Bank of Nigeria PLC. We want to use this medium to give thanks to the management of First Bank for deeming it fit to think that Medview is one of those reliable airlines that is in the industry that they needed to support,” Bankole said.
